JOYTALK is now accepting applications for an energetic & enthusiastic native English speaker to work at our foreign language schools in northern Tochigi prefecture (Sakura City, Yaita City & Otawara City) teaching conversational English to children and adults, as well as teaching business English at companies in the area.

Applicants must be native speakers of English, have a university degree, a valid driver's license for use in Japan, enjoy working with children and adults alike, have an interest in Japanese language & culture and be a team player.

Applicants would also be highly regarded if they have Japanese speaking skills, hold education qualifications and / or have previous teaching experience although they are not essential for this position.

Joytalk provides visa sponsorship, assistance with apartment and car rental, on-going teacher training and reimbursement for work transportation costs.

The details:

Hours: Full-time Tuesday to Saturday afternoons and evenings

Start: March 15, 2010

Salary: depends on qualifications and teaching experience. Range 220,000 - 240,000 per month. Transportation is reimbursed up to 15,000 yen per month.

Priority will be given to those who already hold valid visas for Japan, whether in Japan or overseas, although new visa sponsorship is possible.
