JOYTALK is now accepting expressions of interest from energetic & enthusiastic English speakers who wish to work part-time hours at our English conversation and foreign language schools in Sendai-Tomiya, Miyagi prefecture or Otawara, Yaita & Sakura Cities in Tochigi Prefecture and companies in the surrounding areas.

Applicants must be native speakers of English or equivalent level, have a current visa valid for work (to some degree) in Japan, enjoy working with children and adults alike, have an interest in Japanese language & culture and be a team player.

Classes are usually held in the afternoons and evenings, however, there are sometimes business classes held in the mornings as well. Each would be a small class of children or adults and would utilise a set curriculum.

Applicants would also be highly regarded if they have Japanese speaking skills, hold education qualifications and / or have previous teaching experience.

The details:

Part-time rate: 2000 yen per eikaiwa school class. Rate will vary per company class.

Transportation is reimbursed up to 1500 yen per day.
